The key is remaining adaptable and open to learning, no matter where life takes you. With constant change comes an invaluable skill set—but how can you leverage that experience when answering tough interview questions? Each of these common questions provides an opportunity to highlight your adaptability, resilience, and problem-solving skills. Here’s how to respond with confidence:

Can you explain the gaps in your resume?

Be honest but strategic. Highlight what you did during career breaks, such as volunteer work, freelance projects, certifications, or skill-building activities.

Certifications:

“During my career break, I focused on gaining new certifications and expanding my skill set to stay competitive in the field.
