Atlanta, GA <\/b>\u2013 <\/span>Hire Heroes USA, a national nonprofit<\/span> organization that empowers U.S. military members, veterans and spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce, announced it surpassed a major milestone by assisting its 100,000<\/span>th<\/span> client in their search for civilian employment. Since 2005, Hire Heroes USA has <\/span>offered free, personalized one-on-one coaching, resume assistance, interview preparation and mentoring that has helped veterans successfully navigate the transition into their post-military careers. \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

“This milestone represents more than just a number, ” said Ross Dickman, CEO of Hire Heroes USA. “Every one of those 100,000 hires represents a person whose life has been transformed \u2014 families finding stability, communities growing stronger and individuals rediscovering purpose. In 2023, Hire Heroes USA helped nearly 14,000 veterans and military spouses successfully secure new jobs, generating an economic return of more than $942 million. Hire Heroes USA clients are achieving $69,263 in starting salary, well above the national average.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hire Heroes USA began when founder John Bardis met U.S. Army Sergeant Justin Callahan who had been severely injured in a landmine explosion while on patrol in Afghanistan. Despite Callahan\u2019s injuries, he expressed being most concerned about finding employment and Bardis offered him a job on the spot. Shortly afterward, Bardis created Hire Heroes USA to provide free job search support for U.S. military members, veterans and military spouses. <\/span><\/p>\n
