David Short first connected with Hire Heroes USA during a TAPS briefing as he prepared to retire. When his r\u00e9sum\u00e9 slowed his search, he turned to our team for personalized one-on-one support. Translating years of service into clear civilian language, he was able to secure a new role. With a strong desire to keep serving, he decided to return to Hire Heroes USA as a volunteer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because he\u2019s navigated transition himself, David brings real-world tactics to every conversation. He shares what worked, what didn\u2019t, and the smart pivots that keep a search on track.
